Doc put Micia on an antibiotic (oral), but seemed to believe the problem was more crystals than microbes. Since I'm in MSP, it's up to Jim to handle her. She has been drinking copious amounts of water, though the holistic vet site says cats cannot & will not drink sufficient water to keep the urine sufficiently clear--according to the writer, they tend to be chronically dehydrated if fed only kibble, though Micia gets 1/4 of a can of meat a day. I'm seriously considering gearing myself up for a raw food diet for her. I'll have to find a health food store, I guess. I've seen one in Mason City, but haven't stopped in.

There's something about having a kitty sleeping in my lap that makes me want just to sit wherever & am & let her sleep. Not very productive, but it probably lowers my blood pressure ;)
